Carnival Weekend |
| The Waldheim Figure Skating Club is holding it's carnival on Saturday, March 13th. The WRCI will also hold a fund raising supper that evening with all proceeds going to the Waldheim Rec Centre. The Waldheim Curling Club will also be holding their family fun spiel over the same weekend running from the 12th - 14th of March. |

Waldheim Rec Centre Gets $22,000 Grant |
| Last summer the WRCI applied for a Federal Grant which was approved this past month. Under the conditions of the grant the WRCI will have to come up with $44,000 and the government will give another $22,000 for a total of $66,000 worth of improvements to the Rec Centre. The WRCI board will begin a campaign to raise it's portion of the funding beginning with a fund raising supper on March 13th at the Rec Centre. Please come out and consider what size of a donation you can give to the Rec Centre. |
